The adapter precisely aligns the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope's optical path with the iPhone camera's visual axis to obtain high-resolution* images of the fundus and retinal nerve. The iExaminer App facilitates storing images in patient files or sending them for printing. With the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope offering a 5x larger view of the fundus compared to a standard Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope and a 25° field-of-view without pupil dilation, fundus imaging is possible anytime, anywhere.
