Coated VICRYL (polyglactin 910) suture is a sterile, synthetic absorbable surgical suture crafted from a copolymer consisting of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide.

Coated VICRYL suture is designed for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including ophthalmic procedures, but is not suitable for cardiovascular and neurological tissues.
